We were married in 2014. It was the happiest day of our lives. We were both 35 years old when we got married and neither of us had been married before. We both desired to have children and we desired it even more the more we fell in love with each other.

We found out about some fertility issues and began seeing a fertility specialist. It. Was. Hard.
The process was extremely hard on Amber’s body. It was so hard on both of us emotionally.

We have also suffered four miscarriages. That was excruciating.

We kept praying for God to give us the desires of our hearts all the while not realizing that He was changing those desires. If God ever gives us a biological baby of our own, we will be ecstatic but for now, our hearts desire is to adopt a baby/child. To feel your hearts desire line up with God’s desire for you, well there is really nothing like it.
